Visual 1st Women in Imaging initiative
We all know there aren't nearly enough female executives and entrepreneurs active in the imaging industry.
Spurred by conversations with long-time female Visual 1st attendees, at Visual 1st 2019 we launched the following initiatives:
During registration and prior to the program on the first day of the conference we served a meet & greet lunch exclusively for our female attendees in our VIP Speaker room, where they were invited to network and meet each other. More than 25 women participated.
To specifically make it possible for female entrepreneurs to attend Visual 1st, we offered a number of tickets at the nominal price of $69 (90% discount) specifically for female executives at startups with no more than $1M in annual revenues.
